"Blockblock" brings us a heavily percussive march, continuously signaled forward with an ominous reverbed tone, set against a backdrop of clicking mechanisms and pumping metallic noise. In Lorusso's "After K Comes L," a clearly defined, crisp kick drum rapidly collapses into murky bass and aggressive industrial hits, pushed forward by sterilizing white noise blasts and heavily distorted chords. Next, "ICD 10" leaves four on the floor beats behind in favor of a forceful stumbling beats and drifting atmospheres. Scraping percussion and listening treble sit atop uncannily organic, beastly groans. In "Automation Heart," acid mantras repeat themselves over cavernous bass, supplemented by appropriately analog clap patterns and rattling metallic percussion.
